Wonderful Weekend Wedding
What a detailed account of the show! Thanks so much for taking time on a Saturday night, when undoubtedly many would prefer to be at home on the couch, to come down to itty-bitty Pete's Candy Store and hear Sweet Bitters play. Nina and I had a great time chatting with you and Lois and the performance was a fun one. Definitely check out some friends of mine: bluegrass trio Red Molly and blues/slide guitarist Pat Wictor. Tell them I sent ya!
See you soon,
Sharon

We love Red Molly. We're going to try and catch them on April 27th in Middletown, NY. It's twice as good for us oldies, because it's a 3pm show. ;-)
Thanks again for all of the pointers, and for the excellent show!
Thanks so much to both you and Lois for coming out on Saturday! It was a real pleasure meeting both of you. As Sharon said, it was a fun performance for us and it's always exciting to have new people to perform for!
I'd like to make my own recommendation - one of my local faves is a singer/songwriter named Matt Singer. He mostly performs solo, although I've also seen him in band formation. I have the opportunity to hear a lot of people at the open mics, (which is how I first heard him), and I think he's one of NYC's major talents.
Have a great day!
:-) Nina
Great timing. As your comment came in, I just finished listening to the songs that Pat Wictor has on MySpace. Sharon was right, he's really good. So, now I'll add Matt Singer to my list, and check him out as soon as I get a chance (won't be today).
Thanks again for a great show, and hope to see you soon. Don't forget to tell Craig to drop me an email about Zope. :-)
