Winnipeg Folk Festival. It's three great days outside in nature surrounded by fun people and great, varied music.
It would be a real culture shock from the east coast, but you guys may like it. :-)

Sounds cool. For the past 5 years, we host a July 4th party on our deck in NYC where we see the Macy's fireworks display live. It's pretty awesome. You've seen the deck, but you have to imagine the fireworks live. ;-)
They are starting to construct a building in the distance that may obscure our view when it's completed. If that happens, we won't want to be in NYC on the 4th, and might check out the festival that year. ;-)
