Your wedding was simply "that good", but I'm finally recovered (almost). :-)

We have something in Westchester tonight, so we won't be at Joe's. I don't think we'll be there tomorrow either. In fact, I don't think we'll be at any NYC music until May 24th! I know, sounds insane, but we have so many social commitments until then (which we are looking forward to) that it's simple math...

See you sometime in late May, I'm sure! :-)

I want Peachstone EP bad, but can't buy it at one of Aoife's live shows because don't live in the US.
I sent her messages on Twitter and she told me that for now Peachstone EP is only available at her live shows.

Yes, /etc/rc.d is the correct answer here. All of the init.d equivalent scripts end up in here, including the "crashplan" one.

I have a quick question about the Crashplan installation process. During the installation process, I get a question asking where my runlevel init links are located. Since Archlinux is a BSD system it doesn't have any runlevels. Do you just put /etc/rc.d ?

I did notice the sound issue more at the beginning with Elizabeth, actually. You may be right that they adjusted things. And as for the grand, I think Ian in particular benefits. Sometimes he'll start pounding away on the keys, getting a harsh sound that the keyboard wasn't simulating. I'll see you guys at Full Vinyl. And hopefully Misty Boyce on Sunday.

Agreed on all your points. I actually found the speakers (range) worst on the opening number for Elizabeth, with her voice being a bit too bright. But, either all of them, or the sound guy, compensated quickly and got it better.

You were standing so close to the left speaker that you probably got a bit too much of the "harshness".

I always prefer a grand over electronic keyboards. Doug and I were discussing that before the show, but beggars can't be choosers. ;-)

Lois just realized that she didn't get a single photo of you, which is wildly unusual. I guess we'll just have to go see another show with you soon. :-)

The venue is incredibly gorgeous. I think the sound was a bit weak (in range, not in volume), which is probably just part of the nature of a temporary setup like that. And I think the keyboard was falling short of what Ian can do with a grand piano (which I suppose speaks for why grand pianos still exist). I absolutely loved the concert, mind.
