OK, even if I'm wrong, making that bold statement may have moved me further along the path to finding "the guy". I'll definitely have to check out Phil Keaggy. I also need to buy both of Bill Cooley's CDs now, to see what he does when he's not in the shadow of a star like Kathy.

Wow. That's a very strong statement. It makes me want to hear this guy play.

Still, I'm skeptical about whether I would be able to make the same remark. I've been to see some remarkable acoustic guitar players. Tops on my list would probably be Phil Keaggy, and during the evening I saw him in concert, he set a very high standard indeed. :-)
