Another guy pushing the Mac, shocking ;-)

Seriously, I was one of the earliest NeXT adopters, and was a cult-leader in promoting it. Given that there aren't that many cool (software) features in the current Mac that weren't available 15 years ago!!! on the NeXT, I understand and appreciate what I'm missing.

What I tell people who know me well, and I'm only 1/2 joking, is that if I buy a Mac tomorrow, in a year, Steve Jobs will declare the Mac a dead platform, and the rest of you will all be screwed ;-)

So, for all you Mac lovers out there, I'm avoiding it as a favor to you! :-)

I was a Gentoo-aholic for about 2-years.. all that updating and compiling! But what a great community..

Now I'm an iMac (and Nokia) addict (my last Mac was a 2si btw) and enjoying it greatly ;-)
