Random Musings: Girlyman Mini-Contest

  • davis · 1 year ago
I really am a wantin' that Girlyman CD. Down here in Virginny, we all can't listen to such purty music on the radio and the record stores don't carry such sophisticated tunes. Country and Blue Grass is about all they have on the shelves! So, if you have another copy of the CD, please send it my way.

P.S. - My ever lovin' wife thinks they sound good too.

Hi Davis. You definitely get points for being first, but as I noted above, it's probably not going to be good enough to simply say "I want one". It's possible that if enough time passes, and no one else enters, I'll send you one just based on the above, but otherwise, you'll need to do a bit more.

Example, how do you know about Girlyman, have you ever seen them live, etc.?

Anyway, at least I'll consider the above an official entry for now, but not an instant winner. :-)

Hi Hadar. Well Suh, I'm not gonna lie about it. I aint' neva heard of Girlyman nor listened to their music until this evenin'. If Lois hadn't sent me this blog link, I probably never would of heard of them. But they do sound good!

Ah, Lois is sneaky! We both spend so much time trying to "spread the word" about Girlyman, that I can't keep track of how many people she sent the link to.

OK, one way or another, we're getting a copy in your hands! :-)

P.S. Your wonderful son got a copy of Joyful Sign (the last studio CD) from us as a gift, so there's a close by copy to borrow and listen to in the meantime. :-)

Yes, I'm just discovering how sneaky Lois can be. I hope that you are both doing well. This is the first time that I have visited a Blog, so I am enjoying a new experience. I'll borrow my wonderful son's CD in the meantime. I know him better than you do, and he really is wonderful. I think he gets that from his Mother. Take care and I hope to see you and Lois soon.
